Jackson Looseyia

Saigilu Jackson Looseyia Jackson Looseyia is a partner at the Koiyaki Guide School at Rekero Conservation Camp in the Masai Mara. Koiyaki Guide School is a yearlong program that provides education for local Maasai youth leading to a professional safari guide certification. The topics covered at the school are anthropology and customs; animal behavior such as species names, habitat requirements, feeding habits and social structures; animal/human wildlife conflict, and African history. Three years ago, Koiyaki had their first graduating class of 23 students in residence, including three Maasai women. The following pictures are from their 2008 class commencement.
